![]() I also had to replace our original review unit when the heating element suddenly stopped working after a year (I used the iron two or three times a week). This Black+Decker model’s reliability problems are well documented in owner reviews. I’ve also tried the Allure D3040, a very similar iron with a digital display, but I’ve found the cheaper D3030 to be the better performer. In addition, the D3030 is the fastest to heat up of the irons we recommend, producing steam in 30 seconds. As a result, it produces steam for longer than the Chi and Rowenta models, lasting about 22 minutes before needing a refill. It weighs 3.1 pounds, making it the lightest of our picks (the Chi 13102 is 3.3 pounds and the Rowenta DW9280 is 3.9 pounds), and it has a 14-ounce water tank, the biggest of our picks. This Black+Decker iron consistently produces stronger bursts of steam than most other irons I’ve tested, even though it’s less powerful than our other picks, with only 1,600 watts. It has the most unpredictable reliability of our picks, though, which is why we no longer recommend it in the top spot. It was once a top pick, and it’s one of the most powerful irons I’ve tried. I work in Healthcare I have to wear scrubs. The Black+Decker Allure Professional Steam Iron D3030 is the best iron I’ve found for about $50. I'm relying on these because I can not buy in store and as I'm pregnant I ordered maternity scrubs and my regular ones don't fit. I don't understand how it takes 10 days to contact a warehouse over 2 pair of pants. I'm also told now they can't just cancel my order and re process it because I'll be charged twice? It makes absolutely no sense. They all keep saying they will contact the warehouse and nothing comes of it. Apparently now my issue was sent to corporate and thats been 2 days and I still haven't heard anything. Everyone keeps saying they have no idea why it hasn't processed but will figure it out. So I call and they send it to a higher up who hasn't gotten back to me in almost a week. ![]() Hasn't been processed, fulfilled, nothing. I ordered 2 pair of scrub pants TEN days ago and the order is still pending. I have been back and forth on the phone with different customer service reps and supervisors and no one can seem to give a straight or correct answer. ![]() I'm never ordering from this company again. Sadly, your representative wasn't even apologetic on behalf of the company, seemed like this is a recurring issue with the company. I advised the representative to simply cancel my order, decided to order from Amazon and have received the item in a timely manner. This was a bit disappointing, for one, Scrubs and Beyond took my money instantly and then never bother to ship my item, now I would have to wait 2 more day before I may or may not hear back from someone. I was advised by the customer representative that she does see that the item is in stock, she proceeded to tell she will add a note to my order but it will take up to 2 business days before someone responds. Īfter receiving no further updates regarding my order placed on, I contacted the customer service phone number on to see what was taking so long. This email is in reference to an order placed on Monday. Ridiculously poor customer service, especially in these days, you would think with all the competition, they would fix up their act by now. Sent the following email and message to Scrubs and Beyond.
